Classrooms
The CLICC Classrooms & Wireless Carts located in 320, 320B and 307 Powell provide an electronic teaching facility with workstations for all class participants. All classrooms are equipped with overhead projection from the instructor station, VCR, laptop hook-ups, and in some cases microphones.

  • Classroom A (Powell 307) - 15 student duabook macbook laptops; 1 instructor (Windows XP and OS X laptops)
Classroom B (Powell 320B) - 23 student PC stations; 1 instructor (Windows XP desktops)
Classroom C (Powell 320) - 50 student PC stations; 1 instructor (Windows XP desktops)
  • 1 Scanner that is shared between the three classrooms as needed

CLICC Classrooms are designed to serve primarily the needs of faculty and TA’s teaching undergraduate courses in the Humanities and Social Sciences. Priority will be given to undergraduate courses.

Laptops on Carts
All of the cart laptops are capable of connecting wirelessly to the campus wireless network (UCLAWLAN). If the UCLAWLAN is not present at the location, then the carts can generate a wireless connection as long as there is a General Assignment Classroom Network port within the facility being used.

  • 4 wireless laptop carts with dualboot Windows XP and Mac OSX macbooks (16 laptops per cart)
